I'm giving this app 3 stars because I loved it on my old phone. When I upgraded to a new phone I was not able to transfer apps and had to pay again to download it. It's helpful to see the fussy phases and the things that I could do to support exploration during each leap. I think it's gonna take getting use to how to navigate since it's soo much different then it used to be.
this app has been right on for both of our kids now. It just helps so much to understand why your sweet baby suddenly is grumpy and clingy for days on end and that it won't last. the tips for maximizing each leap make me feel like we are not just surviving the leaps but thriving through them. I highly recommend this app, even if you have been through the baby years before and "know what to expect". This will help make yge journey a little less chaotic and a lot more thoughtful & intentional
It's very repetitive, seems every leap is the same with one or two changes/adition, which isn't really helpful. Mainly though, I really dislike how the leap is shown as a storm (aka something bad, something to worry about etc). It's a difficult time for babies and showing it as something bad really bothers me. Also, the app makes parents 'blame' everything that is happening with their babies on a leap, missing signs of actual distress that should be addressed by a professional.
