AppGenie empowers users to navigate their devices effortlessly using natural voice or text commands. For example, a command like "Take me to the Drafts folder in Gmail" will open the Gmail app and automatically take you to the Drafts folder.
While AppGenie is intuitive and user-friendly for everyone, it is specially designed to enhance the smartphone experience for blind and low-vision individuals by enabling quicker and more efficient navigation of the Android interface. The navigation happens automatically as the AppGenie takes advantage of Android's built-in Accessibility APIs. Based on your input, AppGenie opens the app you want to use and using the Accessibility APIs it taps for you on the needed buttons in order to take you within that app to the location you asked for.
