Lubb al-Naqul fi Asbab al-Nazul is a book written by Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (849 AH / 1445 AD - 911 AH / 1505 AD), in the section on the reasons for the revelation of the verses of the Qur’an. This book is considered one of the most important books written in the chapter on the causes of revelation, and it is distinguished from the book Asbab al-Nuzul by al-Wahidi by its brevity, additions to it, attributing each hadith to those who produced it from among the authors of the reliable books, distinguishing the authentic from others, the accepted from the rejected, combining the multiple narrations, and setting aside what is authentic.
