Sahih Muslim is one of the most important books of the hadith of the Prophet among Muslims from the Sunnis and the community, and they consider it the third most authentic book after the Holy Qur’an and then Sahih al-Bukhari. The book Sahih Muslim is considered one of the comprehensive books, which contain all the chapters of the hadith, such as beliefs, rulings, etiquette, interpretation, history, virtues, raqqaq, and others.
It was compiled by Abu Al-Hussein Muslim bin Al-Hajjaj Al-Qushayri Al-Nisaburi, and he sought in it to narrate only the authentic hadiths that the scholars and hadith scholars unanimously agreed upon. It contains more than three thousand hadiths without repetitions, and he selected them from three hundred thousand hadiths from his archives.

Imam Muslim did not stipulate - in his authentic book - his name, and therefore there was a difference in his name, so several names were mentioned to him:
Al-Jami: It was mentioned by Al-Fayrouzabadi, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, Haji Khalifa, Al-Qanouji and others.
Al-Musnad or Al-Musnad Al-Sahih: This is how Imam Muslim called it, and he stated this outside the book Al-Sahih, so he said: “I did not put anything in my book this Musnad except as an argument.” And he said: “If the people of hadith write the hadith for two hundred years, then their orbit is on this Musnad.” And he said: “I compiled this authentic Musnad from three hundred thousand audible hadiths.”
Al-Musnad al-Sahih al-Sahih al-Sunan, by transferring justice from justice on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: With him, Ibn Khair al-Ishbili and his likes al-Tujibi named it, but it is more likely that it is a description of the book that has no name.
Al-Sahih or Sahih Muslim: Ibn al-Atheer, al-Nawawi, Ibn Khalkan, al-Dhahabi, Ibn Katheer and others mentioned him with this name, and it is the most famous of the names.
