لعبة السلم والحية Description
Snakes and Ladders, is an ancient Indian game that is today considered a classic all over the world. It is played between two players or the computer on a game board with numbered squares. A number of "ladders" and "snakes" are depicted on the board, each connecting two specific board squares. The object of the game is to navigate the game piece, according to the die rolls, from the beginning (bottom square) to the end (top square), aided or hindered by ladders and snakes respectively.
The game is a simple racing competition based on good luck, and is popular with young children. The historical version had its roots in morality lessons, where the player's progress up the board represented a life journey complicated by virtues (ladders) and vices (snakes). A commercial version is released with different ethics lessons, pitfalls and ladders.
