IDBI Bank e-Swipe: A Mobile Application based solution for Payment Acceptance by Merchants
IDBI Bank e- Swipe is a mobile application based solution, which enable merchants to accept Cash, Card, QR and UPI transaction on his own mobile phone. Any merchant can commence accepting payments via this application download onto an NFC enabled device, quickly converting it into a POS terminal without any additional hardware.
One can instantly activate IDBI Bank e- Swipe app (one time activity) and sets a personalized MPIN by validating OTP which leads to a device binding and also serves as merchant’s consent for on-boarding & it’s associated operational activities. On successful generation of MPIN merchant can immediately start accepting collection in their account.
Payments can be accepted through following modes:
• Bharat QR v4.0
• Online payments initiated via an SMS/Email link sent to the end customer via an e-commerce gateway
• Tap & Pay on Phone – Contactless Cards
• Cash transactions
Transactions can also be recorded digitally and a cash receipt can be shared for each and every transaction. Voice notification is also enabled for every successful transaction. IDBI Bank Merchants can add discounts and GST as applicable and also attach bill within the app for accepting payments. They can also calculate the amount if there is multiple collection and total amount can be collected instantly. IDBI Bank Merchants can also accept collections on credit with KHATA BOOK feature. You can also send reminders through SMS/Email for unrecovered amounts to your respective customer added to KHATA Book.
