Comments about Ella's Dimension Android Version

Puzzles are a lot less simpler and less satisfying than Monument Valley, which they're clearly copying. There's no cool art style, beautiful colors, awesome music, or immersive vibe like there was in MV. You can also get stuck in certain puzzles and have to redo them. The ads are few and far between, but they're there, and there were zero ads in MV. All in all, it doesn't live up to the game it's copying.

It isn't a complete rip off of Monument Valley but is definitely heavily inspired by it. The game has its own unique mechanics compared to monument valley and it is obvious that this game had heart put into it. The graphics are pretty and the levels are unique. The amount of commercials is around every 5 levels which is a pretty good rate-- nothing overwhelming. I wish they had an option to purchase the game without the ads and I hope they add updates in the future.

The game feels like it doesn't really know what it wants to be, but at the same time tries to be Monument Valley. Puzzles, except the last ones, are very easy. I liked attempts to diverse MV gameplay, but box levels are completely out of place and don't even use main MV gimmick. Same with levels where you have to get from one side to another by freeing the path. Also, it really lacks story - MV told it w/o a single voice line, so text boxes with characters' interactions would be nice. Nice try.
