The General Delegation of Québec in Dakar, in collaboration with its partners, presents the 2nd edition of the International Forum on Entrepreneurship
Towards an innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship
In Cotonou, November 9 and 10, 2022 at the Cotonou Convention Center, Benin
The second edition of the International Forum on Entrepreneurship aims to be a place of exchange
for entrepreneurs from Quebec, Benin and the sub-region so that themes
of shared interest are addressed and become a vehicle for developing partnerships.
The need to bring together experts in entrepreneurship, incubators, centers of
training and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds is essential, firstly to share
experiences where innovation has played a role in the growth of companies, then for
promote networking, mentorship and provide tools for entrepreneurs who want to win
in maturity.
Main objective
Strengthen the innovation capacity of the entrepreneur to make it a vector of
inclusive and sustainable development.
Specific objectives
- Promote business innovation as a vector of growth
- Sensitize the entrepreneur of the future (young entrepreneurs) to emerging issues
(social and environmental issues in addition to traditional economic issues)
- Promote networking and the sharing of experiences between different actors in the
the entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making
Attendees
Around 150 people, mainly from the private sector, incubators, research centers
vocational and technical training, public and international institutions and
public and private decision-makers.
