Tabernacle Description
Tabernacle application is compatible with Android smartphones and tablets. The quizzes reference verses from the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible, authorized King James version.
Objective:
There are 30 random quizzes per session. The challenge is to meet the target score of 3000 points per session, or beat your highest score in subsequent sessions. The game awards you 100 points for each correct answer.
The Home Page
Touch the (Go) button, or the [START] button on the splash (home) page to move to the Game Page. If you wish to review the instructions prior to starting the game, you may touch the [GUIDE] button.
The Game Page
There are 50 random quizzes and images available to each session. Thirty (30) quizzes for each session are cached and displayed randomly. The player must touch the [PLAY] button to activate the session. The player should then touch the [NEXT] button to select each clue. A clue is presented along with its corresponding image and three optional answers. The player must touch one of the three green buttons to answer the quiz. The button will bounce to indicate its selection. If the choice is correct, the player will receive a soft chime, and 100 points added to the score. If the choice is incorrect, the player hears a dull beep, the correct answer will be displayed above the green buttons, but no points added to the score. The related bible verse(s) for each clue will display above the player score as a point of reference to the player.
At the top left of the page, the player will see a marker, which displays a running total of game clues presented during the session. At the top right of the page, the player will see the prevailing high score. The player should try to beat the prevailing high score, or meet the target score, of 3000 points, during each session.
Session Wrap-up
After 30 clues are played, the player will receive an enthusiastic applause and instructed to touch the [PLAY] button to start another game session. The Hi Score display will be updated if the player score beats the prevailing high score. Good luck on your biblical adventure!
