Vecais Labais Lingo Description
The Lingo game will stimulate ingenuity and logical reasoning skills.
In addition, it is possible that it will also supplement your Latvian language vocabulary, because the computer "thinks" of 999 common and not so common five-letter words that you will have to remember. These are nouns in the nominative singular, as well as some plurals.
The computer "imagines" a word consisting of five letters and reveals only the first letter, but the player is given five chances to remember it.
As an answer, the computer displays as many letters on a green background as there are correctly guessed letters, and as many letters on a yellow background as there are correctly guessed letters that are not in the correct places.
If you have trouble guessing a word, you can ask for help - show one of the letters in front of you. You are given 5 assists to begin with. It is also possible to buy additional help.
You are given 5 "lives" to begin with. If you fail to guess the word five times, you lose one "life". On the other hand, if you guess the name the first time, you get one extra "life" (maximum 10). Additional lives can also be bought.
The game continues as long as you have "lives". The goal is to score as many points as possible.
To make the game more adventurous and to make it more interesting for players to compete with each other, a high score table is also offered.
