I've bought 2 AlfredCams and have been an avid user for years. I've referred several of my friends to this app. But recently I've been getting full screen ads that I can't skip unless I watch the entire video. Not cool. Along with all the other pay-to-use features, the amount of features for free users are becoming increasingly limited. Not sure if I'd recommend this to my friends anymore.
I like it. It took me a few minutes to get used to it and figure out how to switch between camera and the viewer so I was viewing with the correct phone but now that I have it figured out I think it's great. Well done! Update: Alfred Camera is better than it was before! Easier and faster to set up, continuously records and it saves the footage to your device for viewing at a later time. The motion activation seems better and it has a wonderfully obnoxious siren! Excellent job on upgrade!
As of March 19 the free version saves videos locally on your device. Ok cool massively inconvenient, but ok, it was held in the cloud for a week, and I only had 30 ish events in that time. The bigger issue is the motion detection that is saved cannot be viewed, without a subscription, which ruins the point of the app.
