I just started using this ACR app and there is for me as a beginner a bit of a learning curve. Two problems which I hope they will address: 1. The playback volume is very low. 2. It doesn't record the other party when the call is made through Bluetooth. If they can resolve these issues I will upgrade my review rating much higher.
Presently, because I have a US phone on a major US provider and the latest Android update, this app is been hobbled by the dark side. However it does work with the external speaker on. Two years ago it was a flawless app just using the phone or a Bluetooth headset. We're still working on finding a device that's easily rootable. ACR has been an excellent app creator and they have done a LOT of work to keep it working. And it's free. We will soon be making a payment to them for all the benefit.
Great app! I had several reasons for using it. I like being able to choose which calls to save. Tho it's blocking method is a bit aggressive. It, sporadically, seems to block calls from #'s that have no, or very little history of previous connections. Tho it has a cloud buttons,ñ I can no longer get it to upload. This has to be done manually. Recording quality varies. It does pick a lot of background noise & can be too scratchy to understand at times. I made a couple changes to fix.
