I've used this application for two years to stream YouTube music from my phone to all the Sonos devices in my home. Not every ROM is compatible with AirMusic, depending on how their audio framework is set up. But AirMusic is SO GOOD and SO HELPFUL that I always choose my ROM based on whether or not it works with AirMusic. Plain and simple: this is an app my family can't live without. We always have music playing, and AirMusic makes it happen.
I use this app to AirPlay cast audio from my phone onto an older AirPort Express access point, which in turn has analog output to my stereo system. It really just works (I use rooted mode). The audio connection is stable for me. The UI is plenty intuitive. As a bonus, this app can also cast audio to multiple devices simultaneously - I'm able to cast audio to both the main receiver and a Nest Mini in another room. Support was responsive to the one issue I had, which was was a license transfer request from the 'AirAudio' predecessor to this new app.
The app does what it's supposed to: allow me to AirPlay from Android to my Yamaha receiver. I like AirPlay more than Bluetooth because of the lossless sound quality, but I'm slightly irked by a weird quiet clicking that's audible only when turning my receiver up. I checked and no matter what buffer length I use, the clicking is still there. Wish there was a way to fix that.
