you know what? i'm gonna give four stars. alarmy, especially the paid version, is great for getting out. that said, once in a blue moon, it decides to keep playing the alarm even while you're doing the mission, and the mute button just won't work. i have a really elaborate mission (4 math, 20 steps, 4 math, 20 steps) so this is a complete nightmare, because i couldn't turn off my tablet. it is genuinely infuriating.
Pretty good for the most part, I don't think it's worth the money overall. The unlock missions can be pretty useful but the text mission is buggy, or at least needs some improvement. My dexterity is low in the mornings, so typing accurately on a phone is slow. The alarm goes off again while I'm doing the text missions. Tried twice and couldn't make it all the way through before it reset. Tried restarting the phone and the alarm just started back up as soon as the phone started. Had to uninstall
So, I've had this for a little over a month and I will say that when it works it is very effective. However the app is very buggy. Two mornings in a row it just didn't go off and all the permissions, power setting everything were as they should be. I stopped using the "analyze my sleep" feature altogether and that seemed to fix it. Then the past two mornings it went off but didn't direct me to do any of the missions. I'm at the point where I now set a backup alarm from my phone.
