Useless app. The only thing it's good for is getting the device on your wifi. It won't set a user/password no matter what combo or trick you choose. It doesn't tell you the password requirements either, which are: 8 chars minimum, no spaces, and you must use at LEAST 2 different types of characters. You are better off using an ethernet cable and the desktop app to configure.
The app is fairly good, but could be better. It would be nice if there were a way to organize the devices list. It seems totally random. Even alphabetically by device name would be an improvement. Groupings would be even better. There is a "Favorites" function that allows you to define groups, but then does nothing more. You cannot access cameras from the Favorites lists !
Ok when it works but it often takes several tries at opening before it connects to my cams. When it fails to connect it freezes when closing. It's not my cams, because I have cams at two different houses and when it fails to connect at one it also fails at the other. Also, panning is terrible because it's impossible to be very precise when you're swiping with your finger. PTZ needs control buttons, not just swiping the image.
