I complained about the first version not holding the simulation speed setting, the developer suggested to try this one, but this version still has the same issue. If you set simulation to 40%, after a lock and wait for a while, when the phone is unlocked it's back to full speed, even though the setting shows 40%. Selecting 50% slows it down right away, as does reselection of 40%. This is on a one week old pixel 7.
Still struggling with this..I really like it, but I'm not sure it's worth the upgrade if you own the standard amoled version - which is also lovely. I'd love to see a blur effect filte added, so it looks the same as when you look at recent apps. Lovely. Moonshot - create a wallpaper that's similar, but morphs into a hint of something.. a dragon.. Flower.. Anything. Time you went back to creating those new and amazing pieces of art you're so very good at.
Use the settings! I didn't like this new version at first, until I found the Bloom setting and switched it OFF. Ah, much better. I now enjoy the added detail & complexity of the hypnotically flowing shapes. As I stated in review for previous version I (me & my OCD) used to constantly look for ways to make my phone look beautiful, interesting & keep that interest by giving me variety while enjoying the screen & processing power of TOTL phones. Amoled has been my background since the original.👍👍
