If you have a decent internet connection, this is great. Dozens of iconic, licensed arcade and home computer titles at your fingertips, fun challenge missions that sometimes add new mechanics to the game, and you can even compete against the community in said challenges. And the best part is it's all free, with an optional subscription if you want some extra perks. Sadly I changed networks some time ago and I can't fully enjoy this service like I used to, but it was great while it lasted.
Hands down the best legal way to play retro games. I'm on my second subscription to this service and absolutely love it. It doesn't have all of the games you'll want to play, most likely due to licensing, but it has a very huge library and should have something for every retro gamer to sink their teeth into. My only gripe is with the phone version, if you don't want to use your gamepad on the phone, the on screen controls are laggy and don't work very well - still it's an awesome app!
There's two things here: The app and the service. The app works nearly flawlessly. Games load quick, run well, and look great. I do have an issue sometimes with the bottom 20% of the screen not showing or accessible, but I wonder if that's my Sony Xperia phone's 21:9 display causing that. Now, the service. I REALLY like the service! Tons of great old arcade, Amiga, C64 games! I do think the price point ($10 per month or $98 annually) is a bit high comparatively. Overall, awesome!
