It works- It backs up the APK. But it's lacking some features I'd have expected. 1. Bulk backup of all apps, rather than having to do them one by one. The annoyance of this is compounded by the screen refreshing to the top every time a backup completes- so you have to continually scroll the list. 2. You can't change where the backup is stored, which makes it more difficult to get the file off the device (especially fire devices). I was able to "share" one by one to google drive and then moving them where I wanted. Again, being able to do this in bulk would be a great addition. With some improvements, this could be a stellar app.
It gets the job done. You can bulk backup everything. Long press on one app, then you'll see multiselection icons at the top. There's a select all button and a little Android pill icon - that is the backup button. It could be changed to a more clear icon like an arrow pointing down or something. This app would be five stars if it let you specify the backup location.
Basically an ad serving app that also backs up apps. Tbh I don't mind seeing the odd app to give a developer income but for it's stated purpose the ads make it near unusable.
