Does what it says although I will be glad to see if the app can respond quickly to the time frame between when you try and open a locked app or setting and with other apps you can usually spam tap the on/off switch where it counts it before it shows as a locked app/setting. If you know what I mean hopefully? But if it does not do well there then I'll be editing and most likely removing. Until then I say it's perfect 💪🏼💯✌️
I just downloaded it, but so far it has an easy to use and understand interface and walls you through step by step to set up the minimal security you want. Once you've finished setting things up initially, you can look through the app and make changes as you'd prefer. They have lots of useful options and it's all free as long as you don't mind occasional ads. I'll update after a while once I've used it a while with more info
Not as effective as you might think. First, it doesn't stay active after a phone restart (not on my Samsung S20+, anyway). A major flaw. Even my weather app knows to turn itself back on after a restart. Second, and this is really an Android OS problem, the app can be uninstalled, without the password, even if you enable uninstall protection (which grants device admin authority). No password needed for phone settings > security > other security > device admin, uncheck the box, and uninstall.
