I was looking for a drawing app I used years ago (Sketchbook), and thought I'd try this out as well. I find this app to be uncannily similar to Sketchbook, except with constant surprise paywalls. For example, you can only have three layers in the free version, then you're asked to pay to unlock more. The same goes for the undo button -- You can only undo so many steps, then you're presented with a padlock icon asking for money. Meanwhile, Sketchbook is free, with a Pro version for only $2.
I want to give this app a better rating, but I am having issues. The worst of which is that my projects are disappearing or reverting. For example, I work on something multiple times for hours total. I come back to work on it, and it shows in the gallery, but is blank. I save and use exit. The other, more minor issue, is that the smudge tool doesnt work with mirror. Otherwise, the UI is nice, and tools are effective.
Ngl I never expected to like this app for as long as I have. It's my go-to mobile art app and while I'm sure I COULD use other apps, this one feels the least clunky and crowded It's been a while but I recall it being pretty easy to figure out. The one time purchase is VERY worth it. I'm sure the tech you use will vary this but I don't have any lag issues for the whole time I've used it. I kind of hope in the future I can choose to pitch in money to show support!
