Would be nice if the UI made more sense. As it stands, trying to set up a USB midi track for external hardware is a pain and the online manual does not help. Yes I know it is easy create the track, but past that, actually doing something with the track is the difficult part. Getting into the piano roll, for example. Manual says to tap on the edit button to open the piano roll. What edit button? Also where is the on screen keyboard option for us midi tracks? I'm trying to control external sound modules that do not have keyboards.
The app is simple, which is good. It allows importing of SoundFont files for custom keyboards and drums, but I think I'm limited to making my own Soundfonts when I need to import my own drum and keyboard samples. I want the ability to take a 'cat' sound if I wanted to an lace it accross all the keys of my midi piano and play the sample in weird octives. I want the ability to take my phone mic, record a sample and instantly use it in my drums or again, lace the sample accross all the keys. and in the end, I want to be able to save and manage these sound sets and collections; with the ability to backup or load to my One Drive / Drop Box / Google Drive... etc. Thanks!
EDIT* Not impressive when looking for a DAW to purchase... I almost Uninst'd after.. *edited* *reinstalleded, found it, yet I disagree with your statement. A 3 track "LIMITATION" is not enough to test the functionality of a "DAW". We can't test: -track count limit- -how s9+ will handle adequate track #s combined with affects- -app handling long rec- -other issues consistent with DAWs "Limited" experience = limited rating. Their's no monopoly, I'm going to look elsewhere. Thanks.
