The pro version is definitely worth it for any lover of physics, or anyone who wants a quick way to look up the physical properties of the elements. The free version is quite good, but with the pro version you also get basic facts on material hazards and a bunch of information that is useful for applied physics, such as color, refractive index, radioactive decay, and more. Basically the free version is great for anyone who wants a nerdy overview of the elements, and the pro version is great for those who want additional data and specifics. PLEASE ADD COST PER KG/G/uG [I.E. REASONABLE UNIT] AND TOXICOLOGY INFORMATION IN TERMS OF LD NUMBERS. :)
I rarely give an app five stars. This app is AWESOME! It's well designed: elegant and sleek, (don't change that please!) It's easy to use and intuitive. It's extremely informative and it's catalogue-based format is super accessible. I can't speak for the trained chemist, but for the lay user it is both fun and educational. And I appreciate, as a physics enthusiast, education on the *details* of the periodic table, subatomic physics, and chemistry, and not just simple overviews and summaries.
This periodic table app is inexpensive, mostly accurate, and relatively easy to use. I recommend it if you're interested in the periodic table or need to know it. In response to August Software: •All elements above 118 should not have a discovery date as they all have yet to be synthesized. •The ability to see the state of matter for the element(s) as temperature and/or pressure changes would be useful and practical. Most tables list the state of mattee at 20°C (68°F). •Table for color coding
