Recording volume and quality of audio is great. The reliability is not. I use an Samsung Android Galaxy S20 with T-mobile. Every other time the app activates, I get an error msg, "Other app is already recording". I don't use any other recording app. So I have to grant permission again, over and over, or else Auto Call Recorder does not work. I'll up the stars to 5, when and if this bug is fixed!
I rarely write reviews unless the apps are absolutely terrible, or absolutely perfect. the quality is better than what you hear while actually talking on the phone. And I am not using a cheap device (Note 8). it auto records, notifies you of doing such just to make sure you are actually recording the call, and even lets you know with a notification that it has recorded that conversation after you hang up the call... honestly wouldn’t recommend any changes, works great.
Wants "full control" of phone. A permission I granted, though hesitant, because everyone else said it worked great. Took some effort to figure out, you have to open the app each time right before you make a call. Well I received a call and opened the app before I answered and it said it was recording but when I hung up the recording length was 00:00. It didn't actually record anything. Stupid.
