While it's the only "properly" working background dashcam app in the market, it still far from good user experience, due to: 1) poor navigation. it's not clear how to enter settings from the full screen mode. i.e. you need somehow go to background mode sometimes gesture just not working) and then from preview you could open app settings (i mean full one, not just a few options available from the full screen mode). 2) sometimes it crashes moments after the launch and then app starts again. and it could repeats 3-4-5 times - all those disturb you while driving car and eventually interrupts the navigation's app. 3) no option to stop/exit automatically on the end of you route. i.e. every time after you leaving the car, you would need to tap notification, scroll down to autoboy and hit the exit. It would be great to react on something like NFC tag, or detect that phone is in the pocket. The only available option to stop record after power disconnect - not working for me - the app keeps recording another blackscreen videos in my pocket.
This works pretty well, but recently it's stopped automatically starting/stopping when the car is turned off. I've rebooted, reinstalled, still doesn't seem to help it. That and it doesn't automatically delete videos off the card, so it's not really recording anything. When it works, it's really great. Just need a fix for the auto start/stop and the auto-delete old files and it'd get more stars.
Very complete dash cam application. Lots of functionality that others do not provide. Love the fact that it starts out or shuts down automatically when power is connected or disconnected. The only thing I don't like is that it does not delete old videos automatically so at some point in time you have to delete them manually. Could that be addressed soon? It would be ideal also that it could turn on and off automatically when it detects Bluetooth in the car. That is useful for cars that provide power constantly to the cellphone.
