This app is very handy because I have several airports I can look at. You can get a pretty good picture of weather cells as they move around by looking at the various airports wind directions temperatures etc. And it's nice to know what the weather is doing at the current moment. Most other weather apps get data from TV stations and who knows where and sometimes they're pretty inaccurate. You can't get much more accurate weather than METAR and TAF.
I have been using this app for years now (purchased) and I never regret it, very useful, handy and stable. Good job guys. Oh, by the way, I wish this app can also connect in flight to weathet "ADSB-In" devices such as Stratus or Dynon, etc, I will pay for this feature.
Simple, Clean, Easy to glance at. I was looking for an aviation weather app that provided just the information that I cared about and came with a widget I could glance at and then get back to flying. Avia does just that. It's not a full blown EFB trying to compete with Garmin Pilot or Foreflight, it's a weather app that gives you METARs, TAFs, and NOTAMS for the airports you care about. Great for a quick conditions check before diving into the details of making a flight plan.
