The app works, but there are several bugs that make it difficult to understand. 1. All my notifications are blank. I have the icon in my notifications tray, but no text 2. When I open the app, I get a message that smart watering program will begin at that moment I open the app 3. This makes scheduling times mostly easier. The basic plans are fine for lawns and shrubs but pretty useless for drip gardening.
You might be wondering what the difference is between this app and the free one? Did they finally realize having to click and connect into each device to program is poor design, tedious and there should be a unified interface to program a hub group at once? Nope. From what I can tell they added a map button, made the device tab look a little different, and added an extra share version that looks the same as device sharing in the free app. Everything else appears identical, except it's $10.
