[New review:4 stars] The issue being logged out constantly has been fixed! I still love the layout and ease of use. I still have issues loading certain pages like the coupons and sales but that's okay. [Original revview: 2 stars]If I didn't love b&n I would've deleted the app. It's very frustrating to get logged out all the time in the middle of me checking something & Having to sign in again whenever I leave the app for a second. Besides that, I like the layout of the app and it's easy to use.
I absolutely love Barnes & Noble, but the BN app is awful. It takes forever to sign in, and it's so impossibly sluggish or constantly "freezing" that if you manage to log in, it's not worth using. This is extremely frustrating, doubly so since I'm a B&N Premium Member and, as such, was urged by Barnes & Noble to download the app to get full access to my Premium Member benefits. I usually go right to the website, instead, which is slightly more accessible and slightly less frustrating.
This by far is one of the slowest non-functioning apps I've ever used. I can't seem to add anything to a cart. Delete anything from a cart. It takes 20 minutes to update. It freezes when I log in. Trying to pull up a book or search for a book is an endeavor to say the least. I am really questioning ever using this app again as the entire process has brought me back to 1999 dial up feelings. I am pretty positive that if Barnes& Noble's app server was running on a potato, it would run better.
