There REALLY needs to be a way to limit bandwidth used when syncing with the blockchain. I bought a new phone, so I transferred my wallet backup from the old phone and started the restore process. It's used 100GB of data so far in the last 24 hours, and there are still three YEARS worth of blockchain to go. I can't find any way to pause the syncing process, and it still appears to be running even after force-closing the app. And it's using as much of my internet bandwidth as it can get its hands on. Oh, and it's giving me an audible notification beep every time it syncs a new block! Until the ability to pause syncing and limit bandwidth are implemented, the wallet restore function of this app is practically unusable.
I installed app on a new phone a couple of weeks ago. I immediately imported a wallet from an old phone. That seemed to work fine. It said something about resyncing 30 months of data, after a long time it went down to 29 months, then 28 and so forth. It finally finished about a day later. and the phone was pretty warm :-) I left it plugged in. Over the course of about one day I was surprised to see my phone used 50 gigabytes of data (!) This was on Wi-Fi so it really wasn't a big deal. However, that doesn't seem normal I did a "report issue" with this info. I installed it on 3/11; at the time it was Version: 7.69 (469)
Didn't work. I tried to transfer btc into this wallet and it has just disappeared. I triple checked the address and made sure that everything was correct before confirming and went ahead with the transaction and it just disappeared, no transaction history or any sign that anything happened. I can't report an issue In the app either because every time I press the option to report it just brings up the typical share menu for Android devices where it recommends apps or people to share with.
