Infinitely better than the official Reddit app. I tried about 10 apps, years ago, and this one felt the best. - you can customize everything to your preference - can set it up to look more like the old classic reddit than the new 'social media' one - intuitive design - don't know about now, but ~3-4 years ago, the ad-free pro upgrade was only a ca. 3€ one-time payment - only negative is that it sometimes crashes (seemingly) randomly. Might not even be the app's fault but my phone.
Better late than never. Been using this app over the "official" reddit app for a while now. It was only supposed to be temporary as I was just testing alternatives. Boost was just better in every way that I could not go back. The UI is cleaner and more ergonomic. One-hand operation is possible even with larger phones (basically every phone to some.) You are able to mark posts as read as you scroll past and hide said posts with a simple touch of a button allowing for newer content feeds easily.
I've been using this as my go to Reddit app for years. Long before Reddit had an official app (which is complete garbage by the way and lacks very basic features). Boost is easily the best Reddit app in my experience. Everything worked smoothly and tons of customization options. Love it. I was happy to pay for the ad free version. Thank you for supporting this for as long as your have. I was happy to see I could still use it for a few days after 6/30223.
