Overall it does what it's supposed to, just a few things to fix. You have to have the contact stored to be able to call or text them. If someone calls you you will have to accept the call, then unlock the phone to be able to actually talk to them. It looks like there is a limited number of text messages you can send per month, please change that. And if you are in a call on your phone and someone calls you from the app it goes over the call on your phone, probably a setting, but very annoying.
Almost a year after reporting the voicemail issue below & being told it is a known problem, I still have no solution. same runaround from support. 8/2023 review Great idea, mediocre implementation. I have used this app for over a year now and constantly have problems retrieving voicemails. I get a call & they leave a voicemail & I can almost never retrieve it. I have reported the issue several times and get the same response, delete and reinstall. That never fixes the problem. ...
Works great for calls and personal texting. Kind of hit-and-miss when it comes to receiving one-time verification codes. Some apps work just fine, some (I'm lookin' at you Signal) do not. Not sure why. You can "burn" the old number and get a new one though, so comes in handy sometimes for social media when you might want to "disappear" for a while. Overall, a handy, well-thought-out app with a decent user interface for managing your calls and texts. I like it.
