No good. I have the basic pre installed calculator app on both this phone and my previous phone, I am not 100% sure they are the same but I don't see any reason why it would have something different. The older version was able to have more complex problems done an was able to set up more preferences than the version on this phone. The one on this phone sucks and is VERY basic. I miss my other version. Only reason I even gave it two stars is because, obviously, it does still do the computations.
Google's calculator app is easy to use, free, and has no in-app charges. Although, if you're looking for an app that offers several different options to help you solve complicated equations than this app might be to basic. But, if you need something to complete simple math problems quickly then Google's app should do the trick just fine.
The best calculator app there ever was.... Was. It's very rare for a default app to be so perfect, but that's what the original calculator was. It was very simple, the controls are intuitive for editing and backspacing, and the button layout would make sense, perhaps more importantly your last answer result would always show back up when you re open the calculator. Good for on the go math. This last update has not only redesigned the cosmetic aspect, but it is too different. Revert please!
