A great free choice and works. I found camera blocker app that has many more features like being able to turn on or off quick from notification area, or to add 5 programs you use the most to notification area so then can just grand access to one, with time period interval if you want, then Camera would lock again. This is a great app though, have used it for a long time.
this app works well but would be much better if you could look at the icon and know if the camera is currently open or closed. I would also like to turn the camera on or off by one tap of the icon rather than being taken to a second page and tapping the on/off button. finally, it would be nice if the app would automatically turn off the camera after a set amount of time, say 15 minutes.
Easy to use, just one click and both of my cameras are locked and when I want to take a picture I just click once to open cameras, take pictures then click again to close. No fuss, and I always feel secure. If an app tries to use my camera, it will notify you immediately so secure. Try it out!
