I'm surprised at all the reviews stating this app is worse than the original. For me the original did not work or it was extremely laggy 60-70% of the time. With the old app I was pretty regretful that I had purchased a carrier system and locked in with the infinity thermostat. Whilst it was a little buggy to begin with it has gotten faster and more responsive with each update. It was making me sign in twice but that seems to be resolved. I don't set schedules etc so for what I want, it works.
When I investigated by the temperatures in my house had suddenly changed at discovered that the app was on Standard Time and the world was on daylight saving time. I am able to change the wall device time, and make it operate on Daylight Saving time, I have found no way to inform the app of the correct time. In fact, I cannot even set the time manually on the app. UPDATE: at the wall mounted device, I de-selected DST, then selected it again. This fixed the problem.
It's ok I guess. I can control my thermostat from my phone from anywhere while it's connected to the wifi however, it disconnects on its own and has to be manually added back to the wifi, at the wall unit itself. Also when it's estimating my usage and cost it will not take into account the price per kilowatt even though I put it into the place where is asks 😅
