I bought a no ad version of this app about 6 years ago I loved it and used it on about 80 percent of my photos. Around December 2022 my memory was running low (I don't know whether or not this is relevant) but as I turned on my phone the app icon faded out and changed to a very different icon. It was the cheesy man that is now the new app icon. When I used the features that I was very familiar with they had drastically changed to a much cheaper version. The pictures, features and quality poor.
This is without a doubt the most amazing and effectively brilliant app for editing my type of art that I have ever used! The number, and types, of filters, and how they affect my work, is nothing short of outstanding! Not only do these filters creatively improve my work, but retain their quality when printing as well! For $2.99 (to get the pro version) the accessibility of all the features and how easy it is to use and creatively manipulate is awesome. It works on photos AND video! I LOVE it!!!
At first glance, it seems like this app will only edit photos images on the phone, but once you have selected a local image and gotten to the editing screen, there is a gallery button that lets you use Google Photos (presuming you have it installed) to select from your backed up cloud images as well - and on some devices, you can edit it, on others the app then crashes. You can also apply the effects in real time to what your camera is seeing. Good goofy fun.
