it used to work just fine for me a couple months ago, but recently started crashing and telling me it has a bug. thankfully i have an older apk that might work if i disable auto update.. edit: rolling it back to v1.5.7 and disabling auto update made it work again.
app has been repaired and is working well. Only lacking a 5th star due to only working with compatible videos (but that's nothing new). This app is still very worth getting and using in language learning. It gives the captions in target language, optional download text file to study the new words on your own, and by watching in-app you can see the vocabulary used in action, section by section.
It seems to just translate subtitles that are already there. If I had subtitles, I wouldn't need it. It also keeps trying to install gramarly, which would only be relevant for English. I want to read subtitles in Spanish, like I would have been able to two years ago with YouTube.
