Download City Taxi Budapest on PC

I booked a taxi using this app with more than two hours' notice. Ten minutes before the cab should have arrived, I received a text telling me no cabs were available. I've used City Taxi for years (via telephone) without a problem. City Taxi, get this sorted out. You'll lose faithful customers like me if you let people down with your faulty app/ management.

It was great in the past few years I used it, but turned to horrible lately. The service is going downhill. My latest story (happened about 30~ minutes ago, I'm so fed up with their service that I had to write a review, I don't do this ever): I ordered a taxi to Móricz Zsigmond square 17 at about 1:30 am. I waited 5-10 minutes for a taxi to take the order. Then a lady called me, asking if this was a valid address (it was, it was literally the address of the pharmacy, in the middle of the night of a very well known location in Budapest). After I told her that I see cars parking right in front of this address, she reassured me that a taxi was coming my way. I waited, 5-10~ more minutes in the cold, when I got a notification that due to increased demand, my order was cancelled. I ended up taking a freelancer taxi nearby. If you see this review, my recommendation is to avoid this app, and use another one instead for now. Maybe they can fix their internal problems in a few months? I for one am deleting this and will be using another one in the near future. Will give it another try in maybe 6 months time? Only giving 2 stars because of the past few years, but this experience was truly unacceptable. Avoid this if you can, for now.

I am extremely happy with the app. It is easy to order a cab in advance and the estimated cost was correct for my journey. The driver was professional, courteous and efficient. Easy to track the cabs location and there's a text to give you the heads up when it will arrive.
