EDITED REVIEW: This app seems to be working now! Thanks for all your hard work, Marmalade! We use this app with the Switch version of Clue. After the latest Switch game update, it was able to connect again (yay!), but we were having weird issues with the app displaying the incorrect board theme, or our characters being randomized no matter who we picked. However, after deleting the save data for the Switch game, we don't seem to be having these problems at all anymore. It works perfectly now!
I wish I would have read the reviews of the game before jumping in. I bought this to play with my wife and son. Single player was cool, so I was excited to try it with them today. Incorrect password on local game. I've deleted game data, save data, cleared app data and cache... what a waste of money. Glad it was on sale for the switch when I got it. Over 4 years of the same problem. You're actively selling a broken game with no apparent intention of fixing it. Kinda gross, man.
Update: Here I am three YEARS later experiencing the same issue. As much as I want this to work, no one has time to jump through 15 troubleshooting steps every time they try to play. It's worse in that everyone in your family has to do all of the steps too. Just an awful experience. Wish I'd never even seen that this existed. I'm experiencing the same thing as many others. The local passcode is not accepted by the app. Unuseable for family fun. Skip this until the app gets fixed.
