Guess I should've stuck with the older ES File Explorer. I went to update it and it no longer existed so after a search it looked like it was renamed to EX. This one's filled with ads, and not just small banner ads at the bottom (which wouldn't bother me), but unskippable (you can after a while) garbage after a super slow startup. Going to find a different file explorer. :-/
Better but surely not best. It cannot go into any app's folders i.e WhatsApp sent images, sent videos, voice files or any such access it cannot do so. I had an app a file explorer which did that but I deleted it and cannot tell which app it was. It cleaned out more junk than any junk cleaner or any file explorer. Wasted hours installing and checking many file explorers but did not achieve the goal. But I might just keep this app. It's like the exFat app. Maybe it has something I could use it for
So this app started playing a jingle on my phone. All of every single app was closed on my phone. I had to go into settings and apps and quit each app individually until I found that it was EX file manager. Once I quit that the music stopped. It was only way to get it to stop. I don't know how it did it. It makes me not trust it Nothing to screen cap. Suddenly played music w/no apps showing running
