Good concept, absolute mess of an interface. No browsing for options from something simple like alphabetically. Extremely irritating that some aspects of the park are app-required, but requires knowing when you're going to want something when sometimes this isn't really possible. This Largely eliminates the concept of spontaneity. Doesn't inform you that lightning lanes can only be used once per attraction. All-in-all, feels like a poorly designed cash grab.
I've used it 1 full day in Disneyland & California Adventure. Worst cons: They're "still working out some bugs" on the Magic Bands; and, it's difficult to refine/filter the notifications & info down to specific wants. Experience with using the app will probably help me learn it. Big pros: the real-time info on wait times is accurate; and, it's nice to be able to spread the map into specific location info.
This app drains my phone battery like crazy! I also find it very unintuitive. I often struggle to find what I'm looking for. I have been visiting Disneyland and using the app every few weeks since it launched. You would think by now I'd be better with it. For dining reservations, I preferred the Disney dining telephone hotline. I really enjoyed the expertise and customer service that came with talking to a human. Mobile order is nice, I do like that.
