This is a simple decent file manager. It opens showing you the option of internal or SD card storage to do search right away. I tried a few other apps that open to some strange interface. This is it, sweet and simple! Some directories can't be accessed . There's no interface in app to fix it when this happens. Some other file managers I tried had a nice walkthru of opening directory perm. As you are needing it . 😒
Very good app. I have the option of finding files by category. or my location. The only improvement I can think of at the time is to add security. Password protection access by either verbal or written verification to avoid people finding personal information at least at certain files. We choose to install an app to make easier access to our files, and I consider this to be an excellent app in that area, but it should have some security in case people just find our devices laying around.
Whenever trying to move any files, it gives the error, "File Manager needs permission to read and write storage, otherwise it can't work." It has permission to access storage, and shows no other permissions required. This issue is rendering the app completely useless, as the one function it's supposed to have simply does not work. Cannot recommend this app.
