Copilot is a great tool for research use. It can cite academic sources and cross-check its own information. However, I personally have a Samsung Galaxy A52 with 6 GB of RAM, and it has serious trouble running this app. It takes every ounce of computing power my phone has to generate images and responses. The image generation is incredibly unstable and will often freeze or crash (by often, I mean once every 3-4 generations.) Needs to be more lightweight and stable, but a good tool nonetheless.
I loved this app at first. I was able to do a lot of research and the image generation worked great. The past week, the app keeps freezing up when generating images. Especially when you go to view the image or try to download it. It's made me not want to use it because it becomes too stressful with the constant freezing. Update: Still happening. I was hoping there would be an update to fix it.
Lots of fun so far. I've had it summarizing classic books I've always heard about but knew I'd never read. Update: It keeps telling me I've been disconnected and offers a dead link to reconnect. I'm not sure how to fix it. I've uninstalled and restarted over and over. I am frustrated but also understanding that it's new tech.
