The free version works great, but I can't give the app more than one star because of its predatory subscription pricing. They want to bill you $7.99 a WEEK for the premium version of a metronome app. That's right. $31.96 a month to keep time with anything more than a wood block or basic cymbal sound. I guess maybe they're hoping you'll miss the "weekly" part and just assume it's a monthly subscription?
This app seems to be what I was looking for. I wanted an app with sound and visuals. I've had an injury so I don't play an strument so well now, but I am still singing. I have a traditional Metronome and it works just fine, whoever I needed an app, so that I could use ear buds.
I've used many, many metronome's and this works for me the best. Unlike some, the visual ring is perfectly synced with the beat. The ability to choose notation values per beat is simple and easy to use. I find this an excellent tool for both experienced and less experienced musicians. Thanks!
