Great app when it works. Part of the time, Bluetooth says connected but does nothing when I attempt to use both the dpad and track pad. I restarted my phone, restarted the app, turned Bluetooth off for 30 seconds and retried. No luck. This happened only on the newest version of this app. When I had "Viture app" from a few updates ago, this issue never occurred. For reference, I am using a Google Pixel 7. Please look into this. Thank you!
My review is based on the first version of this app. Pros: TouchPad and directional pad are a great way to navigate around the menus in the neckband. Cons: The Firmware section of the app doesn't display my neckband's current firmware version. It doesn't have a way to update the firmware (as far as I can tell). The Settings menus is only for the settings of the app. I'd prefer to have the option to change the neckband's settings from within the app. For instance, turning on/off the USB Host...
The Android Virtue XR app lacks key features like multiple screens and screen anchoring available in the iOS Skywalker app, causing a subpar experience. Android users deserve equal functionality that avoids eye strain and motion sickness. Developers should address this disparity so the Virtue XR glasses work as well for Android as iOS.
