There are few applications related to the Camino Portugues, so I didn't have much choice than to use this one. However, it was a great disappointment. 1. Frequent crashes/freezes for no clear reason. In particular when using the map, but also at other stages 2. Poor performance when zooming in/out on the map. Regardless of using off-line or on-line maps. Maps.me didn't have this problem using the same data. 3. The written list is not very logical. What is mentioned seems rather random. Not clear if it reference a town or a place. They are obviously copied from a different medium but without any reference. The list is very long and there is no possibility to know (even roughly) where you are on the list. You will need to rely on the name of a town/place to understand where you are. It's also no possible to jump from the map to this list or vice versa, making both less useful as you need to match manually. 4. Interface: Non-standard interface makes the application "less intuitive" to use All and all, the app was useless. I was glad to have the route on Google Maps or I would have gotten lost frequently. Totally not worth the money I spend on this app!!
Crashes constantly - when opening, navigating, zooming in and out, and randomly. Incredibly frustrating to use. I've persevered because I've wanted to leave comments for other peregrinos letting them know which albergues are open, but even the commenting function doesn't work most of the time. Also really confusing that the text description for each town actually describes leaving the town, rather than arriving in it.
this is a great app for planning. the only thing that would really rocket it above & beyond would be the ability to star favorites, places to stay and have those populate on a map. So many recommendations given by othets that this would be helpful to flag them.
