The app seems very laggy. The most frustrating part of the app is when you try search for items. When doing so, you can only filter out one item at a time. So if you want to filter by let's say 3 different brands, then you would need to filter by Brand 1, wait for the results to load, navigate to the filter menu, filter by Brand 2, wait for the results to load, etc. The worst part is that once you navigate away from the app and come back, then you lose your filtered results.
It's just awful! It's absolutely unusable. I'm signed in, but it asks me to sign in to see a price. After clicking the tab to sign in, it tries to load but never does. The lag is so bad that it reminds me of using 56k internet...IN THE 90'S. Get with the times Costco. The Sam's Club app works wonderfully and has "Scan and Go," which is also a great FUNCTIONABLE feature. I totally preferred Costco to Sam's, but the scales have moved.
Much improved UI. But when I click on a link on their email and when app loads to show the details, it asks for me to login but after login it doesn't open the link. I have to click on the link in the email again u like almost all other apps which can seamlessly take u to the product from email. Same happens with notifications too. I see an offer notification, I click on it, it just takes me to shop tab.
