I wanted to get back into calorie tracking and tried using other apps and they all just lack or lock behind an overpriced paywall, features that make their apps useful and frictionless. This does not do that at all. It's a fully useful and functional app without the paid features and while I don't need them right now the price is very reasonable to the extent that I'd consider for down the road as I get further into my tracking. All in all this app is a game changer for me personally.
This nutrition tracker has been invaluable for me. I need to be aware of multiple nutrition markers due to my health. This app makes it possible to keep an eye on all those areas each day and view trends over time. I can also track symptoms and share with my practitioners. It is a little complex but the manual is at a touch and easy to read and find the information. Overall I am glad it has the options even though I have to look up how to take full advantage of them.
I have been using Cronometer for years. I upgraded to the Gold level which is not that extensive and provides better tracking. I find it extremely helpful when I need to track something (calories, calcium, protein....). I like adding my own recipes which breakdown to serving sizes. My nutritionist also found my using Cronometer helpful. Be aware that it does take some time to log everything you eat but the insight it provides is worth the extra effort. Highly recommended the Cronometer app.
