Not a very good app. I can get it to connect to the inverter using its own wifi SSID (local monitoring), which provides basic information about system performance. I spent almost an hour trying to set up remote monitoring, without success. It hangs up frequently and doesn't tell you what (if anything) is wrong.
Wifi connection refused constantly, tried everything it suggests turning 4g connection off, deleting previous connection details but still can't read data since February 2021. How to fix? Previous application was troublesome but eventually connected and could monitor energy efficiency but now I wish I didn't choose Delta as my inverter!
Creating a user account is tightly coupled to enabling location info. There is no requirement for spatial information when creating a user/password record in the backend, so I can only infer this was done by a product owner for reasons either - inexperienced in software design or - motivation to harvest PI Building on this first impression, I have no confidence in the rest of the app. Delta, you make decent inverters, so I know you can do a better job at this app.
