Brand new TX-RZ50. Dirac app is a complete failure. Use the supplied microphone and sound calibration on the TV screen says to continue with the app. The app sees my receiver but says no recording device and then gives a network 1001 error when I try to select the receiver. Absolutely useless.
Error, error, error! Can't say if the fault is with the app or my brand new NAD T778 "high end" home theater receiver, but what a horrible experience. I just want to listen to music! This app expects you to take nine separate measurements, but you will get errors a dozen times before even one measurement is usable. Repeat nine times. Dirac, please let us skip some the nine measurements so we can at least find out if you are any good at room correction.
App tells me my device lacks recoding capabilities and therefore i can only operate with the desktop one. I just wanted to connect to the device and change filter as you do with the desktop app. That's it. It is of no use if it stays like this
