Does not work. The app does retrieve photos and videos that have been deleted, and once you press the "restore files" button, it will tell you that the files have been restored successfully to "sdcard/drfone". But, as other users have pointed out, this file is not to be found in the directory. It does Not restore files. You CAN however view the files through their app, but not save them. It's basically a deleted file VIEWER.
free version only lets you SEE images that were deleted, you must purchase to recover files. I wasted my time letting it scan my files, then went through looking for images that were accidentally deleted then clicked on recover. A new screen opened asking to upgrade- cost $10/month. Other apps are less many are free for same service. Don't bother with this. Plus there are so many ads!
Doesn't "restore", only recovers. It *should* restore things to their original location, but it just bulk recovers things into dcim it a folder you choose. It adds extensions to the file names. All my music is now in dcim, which is absolutely asinine. Documents have been renamed and placed in dcim, & they won't open because of the extension added. "Support" is a BAD JOKE! I have to now go & rename 10K files and reorganize every single one of them!
