The content is pretty good; I enjoy it and think it's worth the price. The app, however, is a bit frustrating. I primarily just listen to episodes; I got started listening to Dimension 20 as a podcast. I like that you can listen to the episode without having to be in the app, but the app is still downloading the video on my data. Sometimes it toggles to "highest quality" for no reason, and eats even more data. Also, a player controller in the notifications menu and lock screen would be great.
I have had the mobile app for a few years now and it has genuinely gotten better over time. Menus look mostly the same between the smartTV version and this so it makes switching back and forth easy. The content itself also keeps surprising me with how it gets better?! I cannot recommend enough. If you've been seeing their clips on social media and are on the fence, please check it out! There's a large chance you'll absolutely love it!
UI needs work but the content is fantastic. I share my login with friends constantly to get them into it and it's my main source of entertainment. Unfortunately the UI needs work. It doesn't remember where I left off very well, browsing feels a little overwhelming, buy my biggest gripe is that closed captions can't auto stay on for every video. I uave to repeatedly turn them on which gets frustrating as I'm autistic and hard of hearing.
